FAQs
Thinking about purchasing a piece?
First, take a look at our complete terms & conditions.
WAREHOUSE HOURS
By Appointment Only
24 Hours Notice Required
Monday thru Saturday

CURRENT LEAD TIME:
12-14 WEEKS
Pieces are placed in the queue in the order that invoices are paid. This includes ReNew inventory, as well as client-owned pieces.

If you need your piece more quickly, please inquire before you purchase. If resources are available, I may be able to rush a piece for an additional fee.

PICKUP
Pieces should be picked up within 10 days of completion. Appointments are available Monday thru Saturday and require at least 24 hours notice.
A $10 a day charge will be added for every day past 10 days of storage. After 30 days, your piece may be listed for resale.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Wipe any spills immediately. Use a coaster or protective dish to protect the surface from heat, including candles and curling irons.

Do not use any abrasive chemicals when cleaning your painted piece. These will react with the paint and cause damage.

We recommend any household cleaners that have a natural almond, lemon, or orange oil in them, as they shine and replenish the finish. We use the Method brand almond oil furniture cleaner in the shop.

Accidents happen! We are happy to repair damage to our pieces. Please contact us for a quote.

PAYMENT
Purchases from ReNew, as well as client-owned pieces, require up front payment. Invoices must be paid before pieces are dropped off. No work will be done without payment.

PAINT & COLOR SELECTION

I only use Gemini Waterborne Satin Laquer for a smooth, satin finish. I do offer a high-shine glossy poly topcoat for an additional charge.
We get our paint mixed locally, and they can match any paint chip from any brand. You can even bring us a fabric swatch, magazine photo, or another piece of furniture to match.

DELIVERY
I do not currently offer delivery. However, I can recommend professional movers I use and trust with the right tools and experience to safely move your piece.

If you plan to transport your item yourself, please bring an appropriate vehicle, packing materials, and help to load the piece.

HARDWARE
Most pieces have beautiful hardware that fits the style of the piece. I will polish the hardware of every piece to make it look shiny and new again.

If you would like to change out hardware using the existing holes for no additional charge. Please contact me for hole-to-hole hardware measurements prior to purchasing new hardware.
If the new hardware requires filling the old holes and drilling new ones, there will be an additional fee of $10 per hardware piece.

New hardware should be shipped to or dropped off at ReNew with your name on it so it can be matched to your piece.

HI! I'M HOLLY...
It might sound crazy, but I have loved furniture for as long as I can remember.

My earliest memories are running around flea markets and riding around Hickory, NC delivering furniture with my grandparents. My Nana had a store there called “Dottie’s.” If you come by the shop, you can see the sign hanging in the back!

I knew early on I wanted to work in the furniture business… but not in the traditional sense. As an avid thrifter, I saw so many pieces with so much personality that just needed a little love. So I started Re:New In 2016, painting and refinishing vintage finds on the side. Over the next 3 years, I worked with some of the best refinishers in the business to hone my skills and bring my visions to life.

Nearly 3 years later, with the help of a part-time assistant and some amazing pickers, I spend my days doing what I love: reimagining vintage pieces, turning them into masterpieces, and finding them new homes.
